The A&I companies grew from an electrical contractor founded in 1998 into a group of distinct businesses serving the people who build, maintain, repair, and power Southern Illinois.
The beginning
The name came directly from the original work: agricultural and industrial electrical service. Over time, the company’s capability expanded across residential, commercial, controls, utility, high voltage, solar, and unusual field conditions.
A new generation
Today, Steven and Stephanie own the companies and lead with a team behind them: sales, safety, logistics, field operations, and finance. The goal is simple—give every customer a capable, accountable team.
Built around local needs
A&I Supply & Rental sells products and rents equipment. A&I Electrical performs electrical and energy work. FuelWrench takes tools to professional shops. Recon gives Milwaukee customers a dedicated retail destination.
Behind the work
A family-owned group is built by people who know one another, solve problems together, and keep a sense of humor when the work gets demanding.
